600 Mile Winter Drive Across Alaska for Supplies & Repairs | Woodfired Moose Burgers | Remote Cabin

We had to make the 600 mile round trip trek into the city to repair the car, and stopped for some supplies along the way. When we got home Dennis built some shelves for the pantry and apothecary, and a new bunk railing. We caught up on some firewood, and ended the day cooking some moose burgers over the fire topped with bone marrow butter.

HOMESTEAD RECIPES

Roasted Garlic Mayonnaise
2 tbsp lemon
1 tsp unrefined salt
1 fresh raw egg
6oz good quality olive oil

1. Add ingredients in above order, let sit 1 min. Mix 20 seconds on high with an immersion blender.

Herbed Bone Marrow Butter
-bone marrow
-grassfed butter
-parsely flakes

1. Mix well or whip with immersion blender.

Mix all ingredients together until combined.
