5 days on a train across Russia to the coldest city on earth, Yakutsk, Yakutia (Sakha Republic). An experience we will never forget, for being both tough, interesting, beautiful & scary in equal measure. Join us as we travel on the trans-siberian railway, east, across Siberia towards the Russian Far East, passing through the cities of Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan Ude and Chita, as well as the beautiful Lake Baikal. Then turn north, on the Yakutsk-Amur line, built on the permafrost, towards Yakutsk, the worlds coldest city, in January!

A long train journey in 3rd class is like watching a constant conveyor belt of people getting on and off, heading both home and to work in various parts of the country. In our opinion, traveling on trains like this is one of the best ways you can travel and although incredibly tough, the landscapes you get to see and the people you get to meet make for memories you will never forget.
