Seems too easy to be helpful, but it's true! When we look at the 13 English colonies, they really do fall nicely into 3 regions (New England, Middle, and Southern). So, whether it's cold weather, hot weather, forests, fertile soil, or different types of rivers, being able to understand how geography relates to a region's economy is as simple as the above formula!
