3 Ingredient Ca Kho - Caramelized Catfish (SUPER EASY!!)

Is this considered a 3 ingredient ca kho (caramelized catfish) recipe- sugar, fish sauce & coco rico???

Wells whatever it is, it’s 💣 .com ask yo mom and it goes hand and hand with canh chua (Vietnamese sweet and sour soup) which I already have the recipe posted.

When I go to the grocery store, I like to buy an entire catfish about 5-6 lbs. I keep 2-3 lb of catfish steaks separate from the rest of the fish to make this dish to enjoy with sweet and sour soup. If you’re ever feeling homesick, make the 2 dishes since they go hand in hand and I guarantee it will get the job done .

INGREDIENTS
2 lb catfish filet
5 TBSP fish sauce
4 TBSP sugar
6 oz coco rico (or water)

OPTIONAL- TO ADD CARAMEL COLOR
1 TBSP oil
1 TBSP brown sugar
1/4 cup water
