Why Scientists Banned This Russian Discovery For 30 Years

Does the universe have a master plan or is it all just an accident? For centuries, we believed we lived in a clockwork reality where everything could be predicted if we just had enough data. We were wrong. This film reveals the secret history of the scientists who destroyed that illusion and found something much stranger in its place.

We follow the tragic life of Alan Turing, a man who cracked the German Enigma code but was persecuted before he could finish cracking the code of nature itself. You will see how a Russian chemist named Boris Belousov stumbled upon a "magic" reaction that the scientific community labeled impossible, and how a maverick mathematician named Mandelbrot found the thumbprint of God in a simple equation.
