Why I love BAROQUE fashion (17th century)

Today we’re taking a speedy tour of 17th century European fashion. Known as the Baroque Era, we’ll cover everything from the English Civil War (Roundheads vs. Cavaliers) to the merrymaking of the Restoration Era. Expect lush gowns, periwigs (the Captain Hook wig), musketeer styles, and pop culture references to a little known movie called Restoration (1994) starring Robert Downey Jr.
Bonus: a book review of Forever Amber by Kathleen Winsor, billed as the Gone with the Wind of the Baroque Era.
