This autumn/winter in Japan we've got lots of seasonal events for autumn, including fall colours light-ups and views of Diamond Fuji from Tokyo. Winter illuminations are starting (many of them continue into the new year) and there are Christmas Markets towards the end of November. There are several cute new shops, including a mofusand store in Tokyo, Nintendo Store in Fukuoka and the new Sanrio Shop and Cafe in Harajuku. In springtime we say a sad goodbye to the Hello Kitty shinkansen, but there are new Super Mario bullet trains, and the Sagano Romantic Train in Kyoto's getting a new design.
