Welsford 6-metre Whaler BELUGA sailing with a crew of blokes from Cabbage Tree Creek to Noogoon (St Helena Island), Moreton Bay and return, 29 December 2020. The forecast was 30 degrees C with a 10-12 knot north-easterly. It was sultry and calm in the morning, but it breezed up towards 15 knots in the afternoon, giving us 6-7 knots over the ground on a broad reach from the Coffee Pots back to Shorncliffe. The exciting sailing starts about 8:55.
