What was going on close to Isfahan, where a large amount of Iran’s enriched uranium was last believed to be held?

There are reports that 100 US Special Forces operators were flown there.
There is some speculation that it may have been part of a secret operation to grab the uranium, that came unstuck when the jet was downed.
