We started our Vietnamese street food tour of Hoi An to determine whether or not this is the most underrated food city in Vietnam. Our first stop was to taste the locally made rose dumplings, with four generations of delicious history! Next up was for a popular street food in Hoi An, grilled pork skewers, these were super flavourful and so tasty and charred.

Any Vietnamese street food tour in Hoi An has to include one of the most popular foods in Vietnam, cao lau. Cao lau is a very popular Vietnamese food that is only found in Hoi An, nowhere else in the country! We were blown away by how tasty and delicious it was. We tasted a local Vietnamese sweet soup, a popular Hoi An drink, as well as a jam packed banh mi. You can’t go to a new city without trying banh mi, the number one street food in Vietnam!

We finished off our ultimate Vietnamese street food tour in Hoi An, Vietnam, tasting the local chicken rice, and a very unique mango cake. With so many foods to eat in Hoi An, we had to make sure to hit up the best street food spots, and we’ve gotta say, the food did not disappoint!
