Tsoknyi Rinpoche ~ Meditation Explained Simply

Tsoknyi Rinpoche—a world-renowned Tibetan Buddhist teacher—and frequent visitor of Lerab Ling gave this wonderful public talk in Lerab Ling on 5 August 2018 to an audience of 550 people.

"Everybody talks about meditation, mindfulness or awareness. But what do these terms really mean? What is the goal of meditation? What are we doing while sitting quietly on a cushion? How does meditation help us to cope with the challenges of modern life?"

Tsoknyi Rinpoche who has taught in the West for over 25 years introduces meditation in a simple and profound way that is totally in tune with the western mind, yet remains completely true to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He is truly a bridge between the ancient wisdom of Tibet and the modern mind.
