So, is the pump actually getting fuel all the way to the part that matters? Is the part that matters doing what it should? And what happens after that? If the pump is not getting fuel, it's no surprise that fuel pressure can't be made, so time to confirm if that is the problem, or, if the pump isn't actually turning over. Is the Disaster Prevention kit actually my problem?? (hint: no, it's not!)

If you're looking to replace the pressure sensor, or pressure regulator, here are the part numbers I've used for mine... (Bosch part numbers)
Pressure sensor: 0 281003 198
Pressure regulator: 0 281002 982

If you have not installed a disaster prevention kit, and your engine uses a CP4 fuel pump - SAVE YOUR SELF NOW while you still can!! Catastrophic failure of the CP4 fuel pump sends debris through your entire fuel system WHEN it happens - The disaster prevention kit re-routes the fuel path, so that the debris does NOT go to your injectors and destroy them as well, but gets caught in a fuel return filter so it can't cause any further damage. It also routes CLEAN fuel to the pumping element of your pump, so your injectors are not getting fuel that was used as a lubricant and may contain debris.

There are a lot of disaster prevention kits out there for the big 3 truck makers, but so far nothing for the Fuso. Check out these two videos I made about creating a custom disaster prevention kit for the 4P10 in the Fuso. I've included links in the video descriptions (and below in this one) on where you can get the parts to make yours, including downloadable 3D printable parts!

If you're a 3D printer type person, I've designed a free to download printable tool for disconnecting the fuel lines at the back of the engine, you can download them (along with a lot of my other models) here:

If you are trying to understand how the fuel flows through this pump, this drawing makes it much easier! https://autotechnika.hu/media/images/20137/bosch-cp4-4.jpg

You may also find some use in this article, though the pump is not identical to this one - there is some good info you can garner here. https://www.dieselworldmag.com/diesel-technology/saving-your-fuel-system-the-cpx-solution-for-6-7l-power-stroke/

If you are looking for some tools, or want to take things further than I did - there is some additional disassembly that can be done on some of the internals. I would be more apt to replace these parts, but if you are stuck in the middle of no-where, you may have no choice.
