The Roc | Monster Bird of the East

Sailors and explorers have told stories of far off places, and of the creatures that lived there. Among the absolute largest of these creatures was the roc of middle-eastern lore. Appearing as an eagle, though many many times the size of one, the roc was a powerful avian hunter. So big and so strong was it, that it could pick up a full grown elephant in its talons as if it were a mouse!
