The sixth and final chapter in the Art of Arrow Making Series. In this video, I cover my methods for making homemade hunting broadheads from stainless steel kitchen spoons and repurposed saw blades.

Historically, these were known as trade points, and were made from a variety of scrap metals. After Western contact, the Native Americans traded far and wide for barrel hoops and saw blades for making their hunting arrows.

Mild steel points were common in the past and would work well in a survival situation, but outfitting your arrows with stainless or hardened tool steel is a worthwhile and more durable upgrade.

Thank you for following the series! Hopefully this will be a valuable resource for people to refer to in the future as they tackle different stages of the arrow making process.

See you next time!
