One common misconception is that men will have worsening problems with their prostate if they go on testosterone therapy. In fact the opposite may be true. While the prostate does require testosterone for its existence there are limits to how much it will grow in response to testosterone. We will review why testosterone therapy is safe for men with an enlarged prostate.
