Screw and Dowel Joints in Wooden and Melamine Particle Boards

A doweling jig for making dowel joints can also be used for making joints with the screws that are typically used to join particle boards. These are the standard screws used in knock-down melamine particle board furniture. With a couple of tricks, we can use the doweling jig to align the holes that need to be drilled for inserting the screws.
