Materials used to construct the duct system include:

- Flexible ducts
- Transition boxes, also known as mixing boxes or try boxes.
- HVAC duct tape, commonly referred to as silver tape (we utilized the highest quality version)
- Collars
- Hanger straps
- Staples
- One supply can
- One supply grille

Some more tips;
It is important to use hanger straps to suspend the ducts, as shown in the video. Straps will ensure that the ducts remain free of kinks and crimps.
Avoid sharp turns.
Whether you are replacing or repairing your ducts, you will need to create a material list, which should be straightforward. Always remember that ducts cannot be connected without collars, and you must use collars that match the diameter of your ducts. Each duct requires two starter or tab collars (these terms refer to the same item).
