~ A compilation of Cadence-Lypso hits from various artists and bands...the Party Mix/ Uptempo edition to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Cadence-Lypso, spanning from 1973 - 2024. Cadence-Lypso is an international musical genre indigenous to the Nature Island of the World, Dominica, named and originated by Gordon Henderson of Exile One in 1973. The infectious musical genre spread through the Creole World and the French/Francophone Countries and was made popular as many other bands and artists emerged and gravitated towards the genre with each exploring their own variations of the genre. Cadence-Lypso is a fusion of Cadence Rampa from Haiti and Calypso from Trinidad and Tobago that has also spread to other English-speaking countries of the Caribbean. The genre has heavily influenced various other genres such as Zouk, Bouyon, and Soca. Do enjoy this compilation from Creole Music Master, ORIGINAL DJ-SLY!
