Offset spoke out following his release from the hospital after being shot outside of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., on April 6. “Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love!” Offset—who shares Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 19 months, with ex Cardi B—posted to Instagram April 10. “I’m good….but I’m planning to be better!” “I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music…realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses,” he continued. “Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.” A spokesperson for Offset told E! News in a statement that the 34-year-old (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) had been released from the hospital and “is up and walking.” The rep added, “We’re incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital staff who took such great care of him."
