I have been walking past this car for a few years now in my neighborhood and I finally figured why not ask? I popped a note under the door just asking what the story of the car was and only a few days later I got a phone call. "if you want it, it's yours!"

So yeah. That's more or less how I got this 1970 Ford Country Squire. Under the hood we have a 390 6.4L V8 fully representing the era of excess in American auto manufacturing. 9 MPG? Who cares, it's an American V8!!

I get the car all looked over and try to get it up and running. This is a little more complicated that the air cooled cars I have worked on before, but what's a few more lessons and learning a few new things?
