Namely the one that is used within protected 18650 cells that is called a CID or Current Interrupt Device. I'll talk about how the CID works, how and when it gets triggered and how you can somewhat safely reset the CID so 18650 cells that read 0V can be used once again and why I think it is not that dangerous to do so.
