Major Oil Leak During Flight Threatens Mission | Ice Pilots

The Buffalo Airways crew is tasked with an important multi-day cargo run mission to remote Arctic communities, but the C-46 encounters a major oil leak just minutes into the flight which could affect the engines and derail the whole mission. There is a back up plane, the but it's not prepared for the flight. Will the crew fix it and complete the mission?

Meanwhile in Yellowknife, a DC-3 is being equipped with skis to transport supplies to a remote lakeside lodge, a mission that only Buffalo Airways is truly equipped to handle. However, some of the crew have never installed skis on aircraft before, and it needs to run a test flight before the crew can be certain it's safe to run the mission.
