I Was Sucked Into the Woman-Hating Manosphere | This Morning

What makes a ‘real’ man? It's a question explored in Louis Theroux's latest documentary ‘Inside The Manosphere’ which investigates the world of so-called 'ultra-masculine' influencers, and has reignited the wider conversation about toxic masculinity online. Now an expert in the field, psychotherapist Will Adolphy was once an avid follower of these influencers and subscribed to many of their harmful ideologies, including the belief that ‘manhood’ was measured in muscle size, wealth, and relationships with “high value” (AKA ‘attractive’) women. Will tells us how he spiralled down a dark rabbit hole of misogyny, before eventually seeing the light and making it his life’s mission to help others do the same.
