Jessica, who was teaching for an NGO in Somalia, was abducted along with her colleague Poul in October 2011 by a group of men determined to obtain a $45 million ransom. In their first hours as hostages, the pair were walked through a terrifying mock execution where Jessica was sure she would be shot.
