I Came Back Haunted Hospital Alone... At Night!!

After my first visit here & knowing what i saw I really didn’t think I could ever go back alone!.. But the whole thing has been playing on my mind so much, i just had to go back. I really wanted to see something again so thought the most likely chance of anything happening would be if I go back again on my own... At Night!! After my second experience here now I can honestly say I will NEVER go back alone ever again!

A bit of history on the site....


Founded in 1882 as a hospital for children recovering from infectious diseases. An orthopaedic hospital bought the property in 1920.

In 1933 the trustees offered to pay for the erection of a convalescent home.

In the late 1970s the kitchen and domestic offices of the ward were adapted for research use by the Scoliosis Unit of the Institute.

Children were transported from the operating theatre in another part of the hospital to the ward by a towed ambulance but, when the last ambulance broke a rear axle, health authority refused to pay for it to be mended. The ward was forced to close in the 1980s.

The building still stands derelict today full of all its original contents.
