How I Saved Them $971.63 Fixing Their Toyota!

My pastor Justin came to me with a quote or $1000 to get his front wheel bearings replaced on his 2007 Toyota Highlander AWD with the 3.3L V6!
I told him I could do it for cheaper :) The more money I can save them, the more money they can use to run their church!
I decided to go with full knuckle replacements as opposed to pressing out the old wheel bearings and pressing in the new ones, being that I have never done wheel bearings on a Toyota before, and I didnt know if I had the right tools or cups to press em out!
Wheel Bearings can be kind of finicky, and I am so glad I went with the knuckle replacement on this one, it worked great!
The big savings came from ordering the brake kit ahead of time, I figured if theyre coming off, I should put it back together with new brake components, and I am so glad I did! They were almost metal to metal! Not to mention, once a shop tore into the wheel bearings, they would've had to call Justin and Heidi and upcharge them for parts and labor to get those brakes replaced. They were very close to being completely smoked.
