Honda Pioneer 520 ONE YEAR REVIEW on the ranch with TIPS, TRICKS, and more!

Well, it's been over a year for our 2021 Honda Pioneer 520 working for its keep here on the ranch. This awesome machine is Honda's answer to the need for a compact, but very capable two up side by side complete with dumping box/bed. It had big shoes to fill after us saying goodbye to our trusty 2018 Pioneer 500 (It now lives out in Eastern Canada with awesome new owners!) but it jumped right into the roll without missing a beat.

Over the year of ownership, this faithful rig has moved gardens, blown miles of leaves, carried compost, firewood, chainsaws, rocks, storage boxes, canoes, mulch, grass seed, chicken food and bedding, beer, hauled trailers, ridden trails and roads, packed and groomed trails, broke new trails, split firewood, and even acted as a commuter to some job sites and all while barely sipping gasoline! For anyone wondering, the 2022 Honda Pioneer 520 is the same as the 2021, except the addition of some new colour choices.

Us doing a one year follow up video on the 520 is for sure proof of how much we appreciate this machine and all it does for us in work and play. It truly is amazing value to say the least. I know we said the Camso X4S Track review would follow soon after, but life has been busy, and we figured a follow up video should take priority. Having said that, the track video will be coming soon!

Modifications we have made to the 2021 Honda Pioneer 520 (many were previously mounted on the Pioneer 500) that are seen in some of the clips are: 1.5” wheel spacers which add to the width and ITP 14” steel wheels wrapped in 28x10x14 GBC Kanati Mongrels running around 5 PSI air pressure. Camso X4S tracks (with Pioneer 500 mounting hardware), two side mirrors and a low 'half' windshield. Honda hard roof, Honda chainsaw mount, Honda rock sliders/nerf bars, Relevate Designs bike tube pouch, home built Billy Goat walk behind leaf blower adapter. More mods on the way! (cup holders, glove box, and more).
