Homemade Rock Picker out of a Pallet: Can it Actually Work?

We built a homemade rock picker out of a pallet and we are now testing can it actually work? In preparation for putting out grass seed we are trying to get rid of all the rocks in our field. We want our backyard golf fairway to be smooth and mowed low, but we must clean the rocks to do so. We are hoping this rock picker will work so we can keep improving our dream golf homestead.
