Game Wardens ARREST These OYSTER POACHERS

Officers with Florida Fish and Wildlife were on patrol when they observed two individuals with oyster in a restricted area.

Both Jeremiah and Jospeh were charged with level two fish and wildlife rule violations.

Jeremiah pled no contest and was adjudicated guilty. He was sentenced to 6 months of probation and ordered to pay $420.

Joseph bonded out and then failed to appear to his court date. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was later taken back into custody. He bonded out again, failed to appear, a new warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was again taken back into custody. He pled no contest and was adjudicated guilty. He was sentenced to 6 months of probation and ordered to pay $520. He has since paid the full amount and his probation has terminated.

Both have had prior run ins with fish and wildlife and Jeremiah was actually found guilty of prior shellfish violations.
