First Flight of Long-EZ VH-XEZ

This is the first flight of my scratch built Long-EZ, 13 years and 17,000hrs in the making. Details here: https://alongwayroundtheworld.com/
The Good: It flew beautifully, very smooth in the roll and responsive in pitch. The 255HP liquid cooled engine really makes it go. Climb was around 170 knots at 1000ft/mt. Cooling was excellent, below 200F for the whole flight with a high Deta T.
The Bad: Well nothings really bad. I had radio issues, had to move to cockpit static, the cooling flaps opened slightly (and have since been adjusted), the nose gear auto extend activated itself so I couldn't get the gear up. (possibly a micro switch adjustment).
