DIY install of air conditioner soft-start (Micro-Air Easy Start Flex) - so much quieter!

In which I install the Micro-Air Easy Start FLEX into the condenser unit of our central AC system. The condenser makes an obnoxious loud noise when starting up, due to the high inrush current, and even causes the lights in the house to flicker. After installing the soft-starter, the compressor is sooo much quieter when starting up, and the light flickering is completely gone.

The usual disclaimer: do NOT attempt to do this if you are not completely comfortable working with household electrical components. 240V is no joke.
