Der hellste Vollmond des Jahres steht bevor! Der Supermond sorgt für ein spektakuläres Leuchten am Nachthimmel.

Durchschnittlich ist der Mond rund 384.400 Kilometer von der Erde entfernt. Heute, am 5. November 2025, beträgt die Entfernung jedoch nur etwa 357.000 Kilometer. Er ist also fast 30.000 Kilometer näher an der Erde als im Durchschnitt. Die geringe Distanz sorgt unter anderem dafür, dass der Mond am Himmel etwas größer erscheint und deutlich heller leuchtet.
