Cracks of Time – A Reborn Cherry Root

This unique pot was turned from a decades-old cherry root, a dense and valuable wood. During the crafting process, the wood split, but the cracks of time were "frozen" in epoxy resin, resulting in a spectacular piece. With an appearance reminiscent of clay pottery yet preserving the natural elegance of wood, this vessel strikes a perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
This root also holds a deep sentimental value for me, as my father used to sit here to rest when he was alive. Now, this piece of wood has taken on a new form, preserving within it the memory of those moments.
