Can you respawn the Ender Dragon before you Kill it? (Minecraft Manhunt)

In Dream's latest Minecraft Manhunt, something strange happened. The Ender Dragon respawned before it was killed by Dream. So I attempt to recreate the same thing to figure out if it is supposed to be a game feature or a bug. This happened in Minecraft Speedrunner VS 5 Hunters. Basically a Minecraft speedrunner vs someone trying to stop them.
