Can You Cut Rocks With a Dremel?

I often find myself lacking the proper tool to do things with rocks. So I'm constantly on the lookout for cheap ways to get similar results or trying find another way of doing things.

I recently got a hold of some thunder eggs from a guy named Josh @ocklawahaboyrocks, and was so desperate to open them that I gave the Dremel a try. Was it the best method? Far from it. But it was much better than a hammer and was a lot of fun!
