Can Low-Dose Lithium Actually Reverse Alzheimers Dementia Damage?

Can low-dose lithium actually undo the brain changes leading to Alzheimer's dementia? Data from key mouse research suggest so. But is this enough to guide treatment?

(Update 9/16/25: I have found a better slide than the one I showed in this video to illustrate reversal. It shows reversal of the mice's expected cognitive decline. So, same research, same idea, but I could have used a better slide to illustrate it. )
