Bluebell Railway - New Years Day Gala 01/01/2026

2026, day one. Since its first edition in 2024, the ‘New Years Day Gala’ at the Bluebell Railway has gone from strength to strength, with the 2026 edition being no exception. Four locomotives would be in steam over the course of the day, to deliver an intensive passenger service with a bolstering demonstration freight set.

The bulk of the passenger services would be handled by 34059 "Sir Archibald Sinclair" and 6989 "Wightwick Hall", while 72 “Fenchurch” operated with a sole observation coach. 73082 “Camelot” would spend the majority of its day working the demonstration freight set.
