🌱 what is ASMR?🌱
ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is described as a tingly sensation or feeling that travels from the base of the scalp down the limbs and can manifest in different parts of the body. It causes a lovely, relaxing feeling to the people who experience it, as well as sometimes pleasant 'shivers', and can help with things like insomnia or trouble sleeping. It can occur in situations like hearing a particular sound or 'trigger', and many people experience varying degrees of the phenomenon. Not everyone who listens or watches ASMR videos experiences the sensation however! Some people utilize the sounds of a soothing voice or certain trigger(s) to help fall asleep or relax, without feeling the 'tingles'. It is a blossoming community online, whose main purpose is to bring tranquility and tingles to whoever enjoys it! ✧

If you'd like to learn more about this phenomenon, I suggest glossing over the Wiki, which does a great job of describing it and has collected a lot of information about its use both in the media and as a topic in general: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASMR

🌱 donations 🌱
Regardless of contributions, I will continue making these videos. They're just too fun and it's so rewarding getting to connect with you guys! However if you feel the need to give back, (especially to help out with equipment and props) I would be forever grateful! Any and all donations will go towards building the channel, and help with funding will allow me to expedite the process. ♥
