I am being 100% serious when I tell you I had no idea I would be posting this almost on the one year anniversary of my previous Royal Pampering video!! I’ve been working on this video on and off for about 6 months- creating multiple props from scratch, lots of garage sale/antique store combing for set pieces, planning costume pieces etc. My favourite part of a project like this is setting up the shot. I love to play with lighting, angles, move items 1 inch to the left or right and keep fiddling with it for ages until it's just right. When you have time to really get in there and make it perfect, it can just sing to you! And that’s what I love to do so this whole thing was just a labour of love. I’m really happy with the finished product and I hope you can feel my joy through the screen!

SINCE my last Royal Pampering video I went from being a casual Bridgerton fan to reading all of the books and doing multiple watch-throughs of the show. It started as “research” for this project and now it’s just part of me 😂 Since I was little I’ve always loved period piece movies and television so it’s just a natural fit.

A few of you very clever folks noticed I’ve been keeping my hair lavender lately and this video is why! I knew I wanted to have lavender hair for this huge up-do so for months, instead of going pastel pink as I always am in the summer, I’ve kept it lavender. I feel like I’ll be back to pink in like a week tbh!! It’s nice to be able to have a little variation in my pink hue. It was really funny for me to see that you noticed though, I am a creature of habit it has to be said, so when something is different there usually is a reason.
There is one cat meow in this video that I didn’t have the heart to cut out- can you find it? Dinah wanted to have her own starring line too.
