In a remote mountain village, far from civilization, lives 74-year-old Grandma Maria.
Because of the war, her children are far away, and now she is almost completely alone.

Maria has problems with her legs — one is shorter than the other — but despite the pain and loneliness, she keeps fighting every day: milking her cow, feeding her chickens, cooking her meals, and thanking God for each new day.

She says: “If not for the cow’s milk and the chickens’ eggs, I don’t know if I’d still be alive…”

This is a story of strength, humility, and resilience — of a simple woman who lives as she can and never asks for more than she needs.
