A Mid-Century Californian Inspired Extension in East London

Interior designer Emma Dahlman and her husband Nick were on the lookout for a new project when she came across a neglected Victorian villa in East London.

Working with architects Bindloss Dawes, the couple embarked on a three-year renovation that sought not only to restore the building's historic fabric, but also to create something, as Emma puts it, “that reflected the time that we're in.”
