A discussion of the aims and methods of the Job Corps, filmed at a Job Corps Center in the mountains of Colorado. Most of the film is devoted to conversations among the corpsmen themselves about their backgrounds and attitudes. The types of instruction and counseling offered are shown. The social function of the job corps as a "place for the lost in our society" is emphasized. The building of confidence is its important task.
