From an estate sale, the dress was dingy and very discolored. Spot cleaning with Dawn, peroxide and baking soda and then soaking with Biz and Oxiclean (Update: I have since learned that Oxiclean is not recommended for silk as it can weaken the fibers) revived the dress which will now be worn for another bride for her wedding. #vintageweddingdresses #vintagerestoration #cahill #dawn
