The 1971 war ended… but for 54 families, the battle is still not over
December 16, 1971 India won the war, Pakistan surrendered in Dhaka, and 93,000 Pakistani soldiers became our Prisoners of War.
But on that very day of victory, 54 brave Indian soldiers 29 from the Army, 24 from the Air Force, and 1 from the Navy – were locked inside Pakistani prisons… and never returned.

India released all 93,000 enemy soldiers back to Pakistan, but Pakistan never returned our 54 heroes.
Governments changed, promises changed… but the fate of these soldiers never did.
This is not just a case of “Missing in Action” or “Killed in Action” – this is living proof that Pakistan kept our men hidden in its jails for decades.
